FIU faculty, staff and students can create FIU-hosted websites like this one using the FIU MyWeb network. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To create a website:<\/strong> Visit FIU MyWeb<\/a> and register with your FIU email to receive a WordPress website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The website’s address will be https:\/\/myweb.fiu.edu\/yourusername<\/em>. You may use your own email or your lab’s email, if it has one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Note that the website is live on the web as soon as you register, and will update itself as you make changes – but it will not appear in search results. (See 6. Finish Setup<\/a> for instructions on allowing search engines like Google to index your website.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n When you create a site, please fill out the Website Feedback<\/a> form to receive relevant notices from the CASE Digital Team in the future, and to help us track adoption of MyWeb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To request an email account for your lab:<\/strong> Request a “New Department Account” through AskIT<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To replace your existing website:<\/strong> Fill out the Website Feedback<\/a> form if you need assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
