I used to think blogs were easy, but they are not as easy as I thought :(. Let&#8217;s just start with the beginning of the process, the WordPress Getting Started document. Although it provides valuable information on how to build your website, I was still stumped on making my website look the way I want it to. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But with the composition process in itself, the <em>Maze<\/em> article helped me to build personas that really help to tailor my website. When I first started the assignment, I was really stumped as to what personas to make that did not have an obvious overlap. Although I could not do a lot of research on the audience, with the help of Reddit, I was able to build strong personas for research. Even now, when I am stumped on how to write a particular post, I sometimes look back at my personas to figure out a topic. We also had to review the assignment, and I was confused at first about how to write a review. I thought I could write a review on what my page would be, but with the help of my teacher, I was referred back to the reading. The <em>WikiHow <\/em>article really helps break down what a real review should look like. I was able to make a nicer review than my initial submission.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But I think what helped me the most is the FIU Writing for the Web tip page. Although I felt I knew how to write for the web, the tips really helped me to see why certain works for websites and why others don\u2019t. Even when we did the assignments where we looked at different website About pages, I was able to see in real-life examples how a good bio should look for my viewers to enjoy. While I can say I have improved, I do not think my website is what I want it to be. While I can learn and incorporate good user readability, I hope I can learn more skills to get better.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let&#8217;s just say this process for this website has been hard.
