The novel alternates between the perspectives of Eleanor and Park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eleanor is the new girl in town with wild red hair and a hard home life, and Park, is a half-Korean boy who feels like an outsider in his own town. Bonding over their shared interests, a love blooms as they navigate first love, insecurities, and the challenges of coming from different backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>My thoughts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While this book may seem light-hearted, it actually focuses on complex themes. Maas<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/m.media-amazon.com\/images\/I\/8103AXw+WyL._AC_UF1000,1000_QL80_.jpg\" alt=\"\" style=\"aspect-ratio:0.6669913667684905;width:343px;height:auto\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Synopsis:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sarahjmaas.com\/books\/a-court-of-mist-and-fury\/\">A Court of Mist and Fury<\/a> follows Feyre Archeron, after surviving the events Under the Mountain, she is left struggling with PTSD and her suffocating relationship with her fiance Tamlin. Bounded by a bargain, with the Night Court lord, Rhysand she is taken away on to adventure where she discovers her inner strength, learns to control her new powers, a new family, and ultimately choosing to fight against a new greater evil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>My thoughts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I first discovered this book from <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/m.tiktok.com\">TikTok<\/a><\/strong>!<br>A fantasy romance that had gotten so much praise, for it&#8217;s world-building and romance, I had to see for myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Best decision I ever made!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/btownbanners.com\/uploads\/monthly_2025_10\/Proud-GIF.gif.0ebbd7484d2d28b94dd831de65612de6.gif\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first book serves as an introduction to the world and character&#8217;s!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But it&#8217;s this <strong>jewel<\/strong>, the second book within the <a href=\"https:\/\/sarahjmaas.com\/a-court-of-thorns-roses-series\/\">ACOTAR<\/a> series, where the story really starts to take set!!!\ud83d\ude0d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I don&#8217;t think I ever read 624 pages so fast in my life, this book is <strong>thick<\/strong>!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.tenor.com\/0R1-BhKYrnEAAAAM\/brug.gif\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:281px;height:auto\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It would be a crime to spoil it for you all so I can&#8217;t too much other than&#8230;..It&#8217;s really good!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>second book<\/strong> explores Freya who was once human, adjusting to her new life and new fae powers in the Spring Court. Instructions for Dancing by Nicola Yoon <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/triggerwarningdatabase.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/instructions-for-dancing.jpg?w=315\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:330px;height:auto\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Synopsis:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.penguinrandomhouse.com\/books\/551521\/instructions-for-dancing-by-nicola-yoon\/\">Instructions for Dancing<\/a> is about Evie Thomas, a high school senior who loses her belief in love after her father leaves. She suddenly gains the supernatural ability to see the beginning, middle, and end of any couple&#8217;s romance when they kiss. She goes to a dance studio and learns to dance with a boy named X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> X begins to challenges her views of love as they prepare for a ballroom competition, they grow closer and this prompts her to question if love is worth the risk despite the inevitable heartbreak.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>My thoughts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grab tissues, I thought this was going to be a cute romance <strong>comedy<\/strong>!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/preview.redd.it\/crying-gifs-of-chiikawa-characters-a-good-chunk-are-happy-v0-lb2ru0nol0gg1.gif?width=319&amp;auto=webp&amp;s=3e06bfb2c70233ed6422196b35fad00a0737a661\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This book was recommended by my <strong>sister<\/strong>, and as a fellow dancer the cover really caught my attention. While both the characters bond while preparing for a a dance competition, the book primarily focuses on Evie learning how to open up to love again after her parent&#8217;s painful divorce. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the novel is bittersweet, it&#8217;s still a beautiful story that carries a powerful lesson, with life, self-love, and being in love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Trigger Warning:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Infidelity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grief<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Abandonment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alcohol Consumption<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Terminal Illness <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-blush-light-purple-gradient-background has-background has-large-font-size\"><strong>4. Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/m.media-amazon.com\/images\/I\/81zjwKmYg-L._AC_UF1000,1000_QL80_.jpg\" alt=\"\" style=\"aspect-ratio:0.646992041676906;width:347px;height:auto\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Synopsis:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aiden-thomas.com\/cemetery-boys\">Cemetery Boys<\/a> centers around Yadriel, a trans Latinx teen who wants to prove he&#8217;s a real <a href=\"https:\/\/www.learnreligions.com\/what-is-a-bruja-or-brujo-2561875#:~:text=You%20may%20occasionally%20hear%20the%20word%20bruja,female%20variation%2C%20while%20a%20brujo%20is%20male.\">brujo<\/a> to his traditional family by preforming a ghost summoning ritual. But he accidentally summons Julian, a ghost who refuses to leave without figure out how he died. The two team up to solve the mystery of Julian&#8217;s death and the chaos in his own community. Yadriel explores navigating family acceptance, identity, and a slow-burn romance with a ghost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>My thoughts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The is book is so tasteful written, I feel like I was reading a movie off a page.
