Born in Cuba, she moved to Miami in 2015, an experience that shaped her adaptability and resilience. She initially followed a pre-medical track as a biology major before changing paths and transitioning into nursing. In November, she graduated as a phlebotomist, an experience that strengthened her interest in patient care and hands-on clinical work. Zailin enjoys reading, sketching, oil painting, and gardening, and she also has a strong interest in sports cars and racing.
