Welcome to the Tropical Root Ecology and Evolution (TREE) laboratory. We are excited about the diversity of adaptations that plants have belowground, particularly in tropical regions. Our mission is to explore and describe the diversity of root systems, and their importance in ecological processes from adaptations to local conditions to global effects on nutrient cycles.
