Introduction
Hello everyone!!!
Today I will be reviewing Jackson Tellier’s amazing website: Jack’s Movie Reviews. The website primarily focuses on movie reviews from Jack’s standpoint on notable films throughout the years of cinema.
This user’s report will provide details on what’s great, as well as tips that can be used for the website’s improvement.
Let’s go!!!

Overall Impression
Overall the website works perfectly as a review site. It is a learning in progress site, that provides the content creator’s clear mission on why it’s was made and the dedication to continue it.
Jack works to display both the good and bad contributions that can occur during film production.
Instead of displaying everything that’s wrong with the film, he shows appreciation for what was accomplished. As well as discussing important matters of how society reacts to film in a public setting.
As a fellow filmmaker, his topics are very relatable and sparks inspiration for his readers.

Strengths
What Works:
- Multimedia is used correctly
- Text maintains reader attention
Improvements
What Needs Work:
- Adjust site architecture
- Edit hyperlinks for faster visibility
Explanation:
Each post is display all on the “Home page”, it makes it a little harder to find a certain blog post.
Hyperlinks are hard to recognize, as they are so similar in color to the regular text. It would be better to put it in bold to set it apart from the regular text.
Recommendations
Sub-Headings:
The content creator should scale the sub-headings bigger in order for the reader to easily recognize what the next text is going to talk about.
For example, in the post “Theater Etiquette”, the sub-headings: The Great Attention Span Shortening, State of the Cinema, and Conclusion are all amazing, but they are sized similarly to the description text.
At first glance it can develop confusion as a reader.
According to Problogger, “Subheadings stand out because they are like mini titles. They make your post stand out and make it more readable.” ( Problogger, n.d.).

Site Architecture:
The content creator should adjust site structure in order to encourage readers to engage with each post individually. He can either try dividing each post onto their own page with a comments section or developing categories for better reader usability.
According to Marieke van de Rakt, a writer for Yoast.com, “A well-structured site facilitates easy navigation, enhances user experience, and helps search engines like Google understand and effectively index the site’s content” (Marieke van de Rakt, 2023).

The post are so great yet there is no where to leave the readers appreciation.
In conclusion, Jack’s website really attentive in each topic, clearly showing a personality that makes readers feel as though they are talking to a friend, while also being cinematically inspired.
I encourage many people to check out his website.

Amazing job Jack!
