  • Cybercorps Scholarship for Service (SFS) Program

    • Description: CyberCorps® Scholarship for Service (SFS) program at Florida International University is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) with the co-sponsorship of the Department of Homeland Security. The SFS program is a prestigious scholarship opportunity for FIU students for cybersecurity education and training. Students will have opportunities to participate in a targeted job fair, the CyberCorps® Scholarship for Service Job Fair, and other professional-development events for SFS scholars (e.g., training, seminars, workshops, conferences, etc.) The SFS student will also do a summer internship, typically paid, with a government organization (Federal or State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial).

    • Description:The Cyber Threat Intelligence Track is a specialized workforce development program led by the Jack D. Gordon Institute for Public Policy. Under this program, students will receive a direct pathway to internships and careers within the Cyber Security workforce. Students enrolled in this program will have opportunities forinternships in either the public or private sector.
