  • Security Analyst Intern FR-22 (May 2023 – August 2023)
    • Employer: Federal Reserve Board
    • Duties:
      • During my time at the Board, I worked alongside the Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) team and worked on a group project with fellow interns.
      •  Assisted IT Security team with brainstorming foundational InfoSec training resources for employees. 
      •  Worked with QA analyst and software developers on discussing appropriate requirements and workflows to build security forms. 
      •  Created flowchart for security forms using Visio. 
      •  Conducted User Acceptance Testing (UAT) via ServiceNow platform to test IT Security forms. 
      •  Created users and owners guide for Azure AD Group Request portal. 
      •  Worked on team-based summer intern project called Workforce Development and STEM Engagement (WDSE). The main goal of the project is to establish a functioning public facing website prototype aimed primarily at college students to learn about IT opportunities at the Board, search for, and apply to internships and/or job openings. The secondary goal of the project is to create a coffee chat appointment feature and/or “Day in a Life” video. Our team decided to pursue filming and producing a day in a life video.

      • Employer: Department of Homeland Security, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Cybersecurity Division (CSD), Threat Hunting (TH).
      • Duties:
        • Performed and assisted with Kit turnaround processes to include maintenance and patching where needed.
        •  Supported kit deployments virtually, including containerized Splunk instances and remote operations. 
    • IT Student Trainee GS-2299-4 (November 2021 – June 2022) 
      • Employer: US Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Field Organization, Southeast Area, Invasive Plant Research Lab (IPRL)
      • Duties: 
        • Assists in maintaining IT databases – checking hardware and software inventories for completeness, validity, and consistency, and correcting erroneous data.
        • Aids IT Specialist with preparing new hardware and maintaining existing hardware that is part of the IPRL IT infrastructure.
        • Follows established protocols for troubleshooting and maintaining computers used by IPRL scientists, technicians, and administrative staff.

    • IT Support Specialist Intern (July 2019 – January 2020)

      • Duties: 
        • Conducted troubleshooting to resolve IT-related issues for users via calls and emails.
        • Monitored incoming service desk tickets, tracked incidents, and documented findings to a custom-based ticketing database.
        • Maintained Creston AV System in conference rooms.
        • Reimaged and deployed computers using Symantec Norton Ghost software.

          • Duties:
            • Partnership with FIU Jack D Gordon Institute for Public Policy
            • Relevant courses include Global Cybersecurity Policy, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Cyber Operations, Writing for Intelligence and National Security
            • Conducted extensive research and analysis on Russia’s Current cybersecurity laws, concerns, and recommendations for the near future.
            • Worked on a team-based assignment creating 11 intelligence notes on China’s impact on the U.S.
            • Researched Chinese cyber threat actor groups and conducted briefs to professor and fellow students.
            • Written an Intelligence Community Assessment on the Global Trends of China Activities.

          • Duties:
            • Year Up is a leading one-year career development program with 250 corporate partners around the country. The program includes college-level courses, professional training, and a six-month internship. Partnership with Miami Dade College.
