We all take decent care of ourselves. We go to the doctor for check-ups or because we are feeling a little under the weather. We might do some physical exercise here and there and even eat our veggies most days. However, when was the last time we checked in with our therapist? I don’t really think many of us are trying to actually dig an exact date out of the back of our minds. Because many of us simply have never been to one.
Olivia Abreu’s recent release saw the light first through her social platforms (@the_interpreters_twilight_zone and The Interpreters Twilight Lounge), and it touches basis on what it is life like as part of a dysfunctional family where there are mental health issues, domestic violence, social alienation, and more.
It is not exactly a masterpiece, and the author has a bright future ahead of her, but it is so worth the hype.
Take this as an invitation to a quick and, hopefully, pleasant read.
