Dr. Vytautas Malesh (MFA, PhD) is a lifelong writer working and living in Miami, Florida. He is originally from Michigan, and calls Detroit home.
Dr. Malesh is a writer first, and has published multiple short stories and hundreds of online content articles for various agency and freelance clients. He has extensive workplace writing experience, and has been teaching composition, technical writing, new media writing, and creative writing, since 2006.
At Florida International University, Dr. Malesh specializes in technical and digital communication. Key courses include ENC 3213 and 3249 (Technical and Professional Writing), ENC 3416 (Writing and New Media), ENC 3371 (Rhetorical Theory), ENC 3334 (Writing Studies), and the newly created Writing for the Web, debuting in Fall of 2022.
When he’s not writing or teaching, Dr. Malesh enjoys reading, playing Dungeons and Dragons, trying to teach his cats Wendy and Alida to fetch, and binge watching bad movies.
