It is such a pleasure to have you here. As you might’ve guessed by now, my name is Olivia Abreu. I am a court interpreter by trade and a family CEO by heart.

I have created this video to make your acquaintance in a more fanciful way.

As a court interpreter, I have experienced firsthand the consequences of not being able to get your thoughts across. Linguistic barriers deprive individuals of a chance to be heard and understood, but they don’t stop at the mere difference of language per se. Many other lifelong conditions affect an individual’s ability to communicate.

This is my dedicated space to cultivate a neurodivergent-friendly atmosphere for all interpreters. Autism is very close to my heart, and for that reason, I have decided to explore the role of the judicial interpreter in the neurodivergent space.
