1. Register for a Website

FIU faculty, staff and students can create FIU-hosted websites like this one using the FIU MyWeb network.

To create a website: Visit FIU MyWeb and register with your FIU email to receive a WordPress website.

The website’s address will be https://myweb.fiu.edu/yourusername. You may use your own email or your lab’s email, if it has one.

Note that the website is live on the web as soon as you register, and will update itself as you make changes – but it will not appear in search results. (See 6. Finish Setup for instructions on allowing search engines like Google to index your website.)

When you create a site, please fill out the Website Feedback form to receive relevant notices from the CASE Digital Team in the future, and to help us track adoption of MyWeb.

To replace your existing website: Fill out the Website Feedback form if you need assistance.
