3/25/2026, Miami, FL- Zuriel Saint Preux, a junior student at FIU, has created a website called Korean Television World, where she brings Korean television media to America. She wants to bring awareness to Korean television media that goes beyond just romance dramas.
Her website reviews various shows and explains how these dramas relate to our real-life experiences. She has confidence in herself that with her new site, she will be able to paint the Korean media in a new, fascinating light for people who may have limited or skewed perspectives.
Zuriel wants to encourage people to open their media consumption horizons to things beyond movies filmed and directed in America. There’s a reason she shares content ranging from Crime Thriller to Reality TV, to break the stereotype that Korean media revolves around romance and cheesy content.
Also, Korean Television World has now joined Instagram and Twitter to connect with her community beyond her website.
