Introduction
I love your blog. I have tried my best to provide valuable feedback for your blog. The most important thing is the home page. I realize your website does not have one; it just opens to one of your pages. I think a homepage is good for your type of website because it welcomes readers in. I also think it would be good if, in some of your blogs, you personalize them. For example, relate your advice to your own life (I might just be nosy, also lol), especially since you are a student talking to students.
Other than that, I really love the concept and advice you are sharing on your website. I think you should continue this even outside of school because people need this type of thing nowadays, especially with how fast-paced life has become.
Overall Impression
I really like the idea of your website. So I am going to try to put my bias aside because when I first saw your website, I fell in love. I really love the idea of sharing with young adults that life is not meant to be lived in time constraints. It is okay to slack off or take things slow compared to other people around us. I have always placed this unrealistic pressure on myself to start my career before I turn 25. I was lucky enough to never have a parent who pressured me to be the best at everything. But because I did not have that, I placed my own pressure on myself, and your blog really helped me to see that. I love the organization of the website. The writing samples are so easy to read, and the photos really help with reading more. There are no big blocks of words, and the use of bullet points is very helpful.
Specific Strengths and Loci of Improvement
Strengths
- Organization: The website is well organized, and there is nothing that is questionable about where it belongs.
- Your website is very cohesive. There is not a multitude of different topics. Even the review article at first seemed out of place, but you tied it to how it would relate to the other topics that display on your page.
Improvements
- I think you can personalize some of the advice you share. Like, share how you see it in your own life with people around you.
- The blog tab has an error page, so I am not sure what was supposed to be there.

Conclusions, Affirmations, and Recommendations
I want to start by continuing to sing the praises of your website. You did a really good job on your website.
- You did a good job on the review article about Notion. As the Google article suggests, it was very informative; not only did you provide what the apps provide, you also included what type of students would benefit the most from it.
- But I think you should add an image of how you used Notion.
- Your writing sample page was very well written. Like with the UMaryland article, it was very organized. Each section had its own topics. You included a lot of simple sentences, which were not overwhelming and a breeze to read, instead of using huge block texts.
- There were a lot of bullet points used, which is good, but very overwhelming also.
- Your About and Author bio page was written well.
- I recommend Susan Greene’s article number 6: Be more emphatic to build a connection. I think it would be good if you expanded a little on how moving here from Cuba helped build your adaptability and resilience.
- Also, since I think it would be nice to connect your school life to the article, especially since you are pursuing a career in nursing, I am sure that it has been stressful for you at times, and connecting to how you deal with those times would be good.
- I also see there is no home page. I think it would be nice for readers to have a welcoming page for your blog.
- Overall, as the Guardian article states, you have a very good blog. You have built it around a creative topic that is very specific, with nothing that seems out of place. You offer value to people through your blog, advising that it is okay to pause life and smell the flowers. I also love the images you use; they go so well with topics.
